On May 2nd, 2017, the Water Sustainability and Climate project convened over 40 professionals in land and water management who work in the Yahara watershed and statewide to discuss implications of our Yahara 2070 model results, which estimate future conditions for water and ecosystem benefits in the watershed.
A new report summarizes the key messages from the model results and further questions, opportunities or ideas that fruited from the discussions that took place at the workshop. We hope this report aids the pursuit of solutions for meeting future water needs in the Yahara and beyond.
